Romantic mysticism in the general sense is based on the concept of love and in the specific perceptual-communicative sense is based on the “I and you” interaction. Due to this kind of interaction in the construction of the identity-status of the subjects, their placement in the interaction of the in-text agents of romantic mysticism is different from other classical literary genres; this has led to the formation of a distinct aspect of perceptual-aesthetic ambiguity. Sonnets of Shams (غزلیات شمس) is one of the texts in which the interaction of intra-textual subjects and consequently the epistemological-artistic ambiguity of the text is based on the interaction between me and you. Ignoring or not paying enough attention to the reasons and structure of the mentioned interaction will lead to a purely tasteful interpretation of that text. Accordingly, the construction of the “I and you” interaction of the agents within the text, that is, the narrator-lover with the beloved and vice versa, in Shams's sonnets with the intention of reading in accordance with the epistemology governing the text was identified and explained. To identify this interaction, some concepts and terms of thinkers such as Martin Buber, Levinas, Bakhtin, Sartre, Gabriel Marcel, Landowski and others were cited. The results show that the logic of “I and you” interaction in the sonnets of Shams can be divided into four categories: a) Expressing silence and not codifying precisely; b) Neglecting the hierarchy and refusing opposition; c) incompleteness and unpredictability; and d) delaying the “self”.
