Representing the strains of Ibn Tabataba's theory of truthfulness, in the epistemological and aesthetic context; Based on the book "Ayar al-Sha'ar"

Abstract

The present article is based on the analytical descriptive method and in order to present a comprehensive writing in the system of philosophical and literary thought of Ibn Tabataba, the strains of the theory of truth in his most important epoch-making work; That is, the book "Ayar al-Sha'ar" represents and analyzes in two epistemological and aesthetic contexts; Therefore, first, in order to clarify the geography of the subject, it rethinks the theoretical foundations of epistemology, the theories and approaches of truth; Then, he analyzes the artistic, moral, historical and pictorial strains of truth in the epistemological system of Ibn Tabataba, in two contexts of epistemology and aesthetics. The result of this research indicates that from the epistemological point of view; Ibn Tabataba's theory of knowledge, with the classical theory of epistemology; That is, the truth matching theory has alignment and convergence; Therefore, it is justified, enlightening and realistic; As a result, it has an epistemological identity and has the authority to judge propositions; But from an aesthetic point of view, his theory of cognition cannot be very enlightening, realistic and objective; As a result, it does not have an epistemological identity; Therefore, he does not have the authority to judge literary propositions, which are inherently illogical and familiar.
