Most of the researchers who have studied Saadi's works have considered one of the most prominent features of his works to be the "easy abstinence" of his writing and have talked about what it is and how it is made. The hypothesis of the present essay is that one of Saadi's essential tools for the "restrained ease" of writing is the rhetorical element of irony. In this research,, sonnets or verses are examined which previous researchers have written in the form of articles and books. They have mentioned Saadi as a witness for "easy abstinence". The results of this research show that Saadi has a special interest in using irony among the expressive techniques. This method has the support of popular culture, and during his social coexistence with Darang in this culture, Saadi cleverly portrays the most difficult concepts in a colloquial language by borrowing from these popular tools. Saadi's great art is here; Creating a magnificent artistic word using one of the most prominent materials of popular culture, and showing the greatest human concepts for the most popular audience with a simple expression.
